Thank you to everyone that came out to Solarfest this year and visited us. We had a fantastic time. We spoke with over 150 Vermonters and visitors concerned about appropriate renewable energy development. The vast majority felt strongly we have to develop renewable energy in the most responsible ways possible.

This past week the Department of Public Service released an overview of the results of their independent noise monitoring of the Sheffield wind project. The report was conducted over 3 days at a cost of $19,000.

Great news! Senate 30 has been signed into law by Governor Shumlin. It is now officially known as Act 38. The law requires the energy committees from both the House and Senate to meet over the Summer to discuss how to follow up on recommendations from the Energy Siting Commission.
