This Week: Energy Law Signed, GMP Nuke Deal, Solar Price and more – 5/27/11

On Wednesday Governor Shumlin signed the Vermont Energy Act of 2011. The Act does some great things for smaller scale renewables and significantly helps out our efforts to build the Rutland County Community Solar Project and those of our friends over at the Mad River Valley Energy Network.

This Week: Irasburg Meeting, Resource Mapping, Union Jobs and more – 5/20/11

On Monday night representatives from GMP and VEC appeared at a meeting hosted by the Irasburg Selectboard. The purpose of the meeting was to give the companies a chance to respond to questions posed by the Irasburg Selectboard in an earlier letter.
