Lots of interesting news about the Vermont Energy Rebellion this week: there was a big rally at the State House and a bunch of new towns signed the Rutland Town Resolution.

Seven Days and Vermont Watchdog both provided coverage of the State House event that you can read without having to scale a paywall.

Seven new towns signed on to the Rutland Town Resolution since our last update: Benson, Fairfax, Grand Isle, Granville, Holland, Orange, and St. Albans Town. This brings our count of Rebellion Towns to 93. How long will it take for the rebellion to grow to 100 towns? Not long.

There are a couple of interesting things about the latest seven towns: they contain the first town from Grand Isle County and the new towns bring five new House districts into the rebellion. There are now 61 House districts that include at least one Rebellion Town and these districts are represented by 88 of the House’s 150 members.

If you live in one of these districts, be sure to let your representatives know that they represent towns that are part of the Vermont Energy Rebellion.
