GMP submits application to Army Corps of Engineers for Lowell project – Public comment requested

Green Mountain Power has applied to the Army Corps of Engineers for permission to move fill into 2.35 acres of waters and wetlands in conjunction with the construction of the Lowell wind project. You may find the public notice and the application here. The Army Corps of Engineers would like public comment on this application. Please submit comment to the contact person below. Consider requesting that project of this size request a 404 permit (rather than a 401) to ensure that the public can be heard in hearings.
